DESCRIPTION:On March 14\, Science Business will host DG RTD’s Anna Panagopoulou\, Director for ERA and Innovation\, for a closed-door conversation on the Strategic Technologies for Europe Platform (STEP). The discussions around STEP have left many in doubt about the perspective of this initiative and its impact on research funding\, with the proposed €10 billion in additional endowments reduced to a simple €1.5 billion addition to the European Defence Fund. This will be a unique occasion to get some insight on the work that surrounded STEP\, how the process was conducted and what the perspectives are for the year(s) to come. \nRegistrations are open here.
