INESC TEC is looking for a researcher to work within the Computer Vision project CAGE, within the Networked Intelligent Systems / Biomedical Engineering Research. The CAGE project (INESC TEC / IPO Porto) aims to create a computer vision CAD prototype for gastric cancer screening. The grantee’s work will take place at UTAD’s facilities and are carried out within the scope of this project.
The job activities are:
- Investigate and develop new computer vision algorithms for the detection of injuries
- Prototype development and testing.
The candidate is required to have a Master’s degree in Bioinformatics, Computer Science, or related.
The candidate must be a student in a PhD study cycle or non-degree course, with a master’s degree equal to or higher than 17 (out of 20).
Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge in image processing, machine learning and experience deep-learning methods for medical imaging
