Has a Degree (1996) in Electrical Engineering (energy, electronics and automation) from the Faculty of Science and Technology of the University of Coimbra. Has extensive experience coordinating research and development projects. He accumulates experience in the areas of fleet management systems and remote monitoring, embedded systems and positioning and navigation systems. He is responsible for the Electronics Monitoring and Control area at INOV. As a member and project manager, he participated in more than 20 national and European projects. It counts several published articles as well as submitted patent applications.
