Third annual general conference, organized by the EDA under the auspices of the Belgian Presidency.
Under a direct contribution agreement with the European Commission, the European Defence Agency (EDA) is managing the “Incubation Forum for Circular Economy in European Defence” (IF CEED).
IF CEED aims at incubating and implementing public-private collaborative circular economy projects in European Defence, in areas such as critical raw materials, additive manufacturing, materials for textiles, sustainable ecodesign, as well as in specific aspects of the waste directive: the Eco-management strategy, green procurement, circular data and spare parts management.
After two years, 26 EU Member States and some 300 experts are actively engaged in the IF CEED initiative.
The event is anticipated to bring together around 150 participants to take stock of the implementation of the project ideas incubated so far and discuss overarching topics, such as the contribution of circularity to EU strategic autonomy or circular indicators.
