On 14 May 2024, the Committee of the Regions together with the EC’s Directorate-General for Research & Innovation and the European Economic and Social Committee is co-organising two (back-to-back) events in Brussels:
Exploring Artificial Intelligence in R&D (10:00 – 13:00): This event aims to provide insights into the European AI landscape and to explore Europe’s position regarding the use of AI in R&D as well as regarding the global race for AI expertise – all in view of the preparation of the next EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation.
Knowledge valorisation for the regional and local R&I ecosystems (14:00 – 17:30): The afternoon seminar, organised as part of the Knowledge Exchange Platform, will focus on how regional and local authorities can boost innovation ecosystems and foster knowledge valorisation.
