We are pleased to invite you to an internal workshop dedicated to deepening our understanding of the next EU Framework Programme (FP10) and the proposed European Competitiveness Fund (ECF) and, crucially, how the interplay between the two will shape opportunities through the novelties that they bring in their design for research and innovation in Europe.

This session is designed specifically for INESC researchers. It will not only present the latest policy proposals but also encourage us to reflect on how our centres and groups should position themselves in relation to the EU’s thematic priorities, from AI and digital technologies to decarbonisation, health, resilience, and security.
The discussion will also serve as a first step in preparing for the HUB Winter Meeting 2026, where we will collectively explore INESC’s long-term strategic positioning within the evolving European R&I landscape.
