INESC TEC is looking for a researcher to work within the Power and Energy / Power and Energy Systems cluster.
The job activities are:
- Identification and use of automation systems for buildings and respective support platforms for building management;
- Development of HW and SW modules for monitoring and control of domestic and tertiary/services buildings;
- Implementation of control rules and integration of optimal scheduling algorithms;
- Integration of database systems with management platforms and visualization platforms (dashboards); documentation writing.
The candidate is required to have a MSc in Electrical Engineering, Computer Sciences or similar.
The minimum requirements for the profile are experience with automating systems; experience with at least two of the programming languages C/C++, Java, Python, Golang; use of code management platforms, such as Gitexperience.
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in electronic systems design in CAD; experience in prototyping of industrial electronic systems; experience in energy system distribution models.
