INESC TEC is looking for a Master holder to work within the Networked Intelligent Systems / Biomedical Engineering Research cluster.
Application of signal processing techniques for features extraction. Application of machine learning techniques for classification of different classes based on extracted features. Assembly, documentation, testing and use of an innovative fiber optic system to collect scattering data from standard solutions and biological samples. Active participation in the writing of scientific articles related with this work.
The candidate is required to have a Master’s Degree in biomedical engineering, electrotecnic or other similar areas.
The minimum requirements for the profile are knowledge in signal processing and machine learning techniques, good knowledge using Matlab and Python for these applications.
Preference will be given to candidates who have previous knowledge in the analysis of optic signals and previous contact with optic fiber systems for the acquisition of signals.
