Job Description

INESC TEC is looking for a Master holder to work within the Networked Intelligent Systems / Robotics and Autonomous Systems cluster.

The tasks to be carried out are:

Development of autonomous surface platforms for operation in a port environment, including: Contribution to the technical specifications of the different systems; Development of solutions, programming and systems integration for autonomous vessels; Support in the construction of prototypes, integration of different solutions / systems, whether developed solutions or acquired components; Support for tests and trials to be carried out in a port environment, validation of operation in different scenarios, different external and environmental conditions, etc. Participation in scientific and technological dissemination initiatives.

The candidate is required to have a Bachelor and Master degree in  and Computer Engineering, or a related scientific area and holders of a scientific and professional curriculum that reveals a profile appropriate to the activity to be developed.

The minimum requirement for the profile is a minimum experience of 3/5 years of participation in research or development projects in Robotics and autonomous systems.

Preference will be given to candidates that are preferably attending the Doctoral Program; participated in research projects in Robotics, autonomous systems, Artificial Intelligence or similar areas; have experience in coordination or participation in international projects (e.g., Horizon 2020); have experience in coordination or participation in consulting projects; have experience with ROS environment and C / C ++ programming; have experience in the design of robotic systems.
