INESC TEC is looking for a researcher to work within the Computer Science / Information Systems and Computer Graphics cluster.
The tasks to fulfill include:
- Â Definition and implementation of strategies for management of satellite ionospheric data;
- Programming of algorithms for processing of mass spectrometry and plasma measurements;
- Participation in writing scientific papers;
- Writing of the grant report.
The minimum requirement for the profile is a Master’s degree in Data science, Physics, or similar, and a Master degree classification above 14
Preference will be given to candidates who have: experience in the analysis of geomagnetic data and/or ionospheric observations; background in space instrumentation; knowledge in programming in R and/or python; fluency in English and Portuguese (spoken and written).
