The HUB's Teams
INESC Brussels HUB articulates its effort through the work of teams composed of representatives from all the INESC institutes. Their work has a multiple focus points: strategy development, capacity-building, policy analysis, contributions to the development of public policy, and definition of funding priorities. They also set the goals for INESCs’ collaboration with other EU public and private research organisations, large and small industrial stakeholders, independent EU associations, networks, platforms and the European institutions.
Management Committee
The Management Committee (MC) is our highest-level decision-making body. The MC brings together all 5 Directors of the 5 INESCs and the Head of the INESC Brussels HUB, Ricardo Migueis. The MC is currently chaired by Inês Lynce (INESC ID) and vice-chaired by João Claro (INESC TEC).

Policy and Operations Board
The Policy and Operations Board (POB) actively participates in the design, development and definition of the strategic and operational plans and goals of the INESC Brussels HUB, in addition to ensuring an active voice of each organisation in the strategies and activities to be developed. It is also responsible for policy analysis and development of public positions on key transversal R&I areas and organising the HUB’s annual flagship events (Summer Meeting and Winter Meeting) in Brussels and Portugal. The POB brings together senior support staff from each of the 5 INESC organisations and is chaired by the Head of the HUB, Ricardo Migueis.
