ERA_FABRIC aims to define, structure, populate and validate the “interconnected knowledge space” foreseen by the European Research Area (ERA) Hubs initiative. The project views ERA Hubs through three interconnected dimensions: Knowledge Ecosystems, Multi-Stakeholder Platforms, and a Policy Co-Creation Toolbox. The project worked with regional and local ecosystems to map stakeholders, policies and existing R&I practices, identify needs and gaps, and develop practical tools for stronger cooperation across regions and sectors. It also seeks to create a replicable model for ERA Hubs and strengthen the connection between regional innovation ecosystems and European-level policy.
