Bringing INESC expertise and priorities into European policy discussions
The INESC Brussels HUB supports the participation of the INESC institutes in European policy discussions, consultations, platforms and networks, bringing research expertise and institutional priorities into debates that shape research, development and innovation policy.
Working with the institutes, the HUB monitors European policy developments, gathers and coordinates relevant expertise, and supports the preparation of common INESC positions and contributions. This helps connect the institutes’ knowledge and priorities with European discussions while strengthening their capacity for sustained policy engagement.
This section brings together position papers and consultation responses produced by INESC and the INESC Brussels HUB, as well as contributions by INESC researchers and staff to third-party European position papers produced by organisations and networks with which INESC collaborates.
