The transition to cleaner and smart mobility is a major priority to achieve the goals set by the European Commission under the scope of the European Green Deal. However, there are still socio-economic challenges and regulatory barriers that need to be addressed by the different players in the European market. In the centre of this discussion, there is a fundamental stakeholder: the consumer. The expected transition will only be possible by placing the user in the centre of the digitalization of the electrical systems.
The project InterConnect – lead by INESC TEC – will host a discussion session on March 31, from 2:30 pm to 5 pm (CET) to discuss the case of electric mobility within the digitalisation process of energy systems. Different players of this ecosystem will join the session – a representative from the Portuguese government (under the auspices of the Portuguese presidency of the EU council), European Commission, associations, consumers and representatives from R&D, grid agents, manufacturers of electric vehicles, and more.
The event is free, but registration is mandatory on the website of the event.
